PostSubject: About Perthshire Gundog Rescue   Fri Apr 06, 2012 1:27 am

Perthshire Gundog Rescue has been set up to help rescue unwanted Gundog Breeds. We are a small rescue who prides themselves on the quality of care to the dogs, owners and future owners.

The Rescue is committed to the welfare of all dogs that come into our care, and endeavour to make a positive contribution to their lives, no matter what their circumstances. We aim also to educate people about Gundog Breeds prior to taking them on, and are often called by people wondering about their suitability to own one of these, intelligent working bred dogs.

We also aim to be a support to owners with gundog breeds who may need our help with concerns such as training, behaviour or nutrition. We work with Qualified and very experienced trainers, behaviourists, vets , other superb breed rescues and many more to give everyone the support they need to fulfill their dog's lives.

We cant make any of this possible without the help of volunteers and of course the much needed fundraising. If you would like to apply to become a volunteer or have a great idea for fundraising or would just love to give a donation then please get in touch. You can email us or give us a call.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PGR DOES NOT HAVE KENNELS YOU CAN VISIT AS ALL DOGS ARE PLACED IN FOSTER HOMES. ALSO PGR IS A NON PROFIT ORGANISATION AND RELIES SOLEY ON UN PAID VOLUNTEERS.

Kind Regards
